DISPOSITION
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF pICKEPdNq
BY-LAW NO. §157/97
Being a by-law to authorize the sale of surplus municipal
lands being those parts of Block 24, Plan 40M-1538,
Picketing, designated as Parts 15, 16 and 18, Plan 40R-
I '/151, in accordance with By-£aw 4592/95.
WHEREAS, The Town of Pickering on April 3, 1995 passed By-Law 4592/95 to establish procedures
to regulate the sale of Municipal Real Property pursuant to section 193(2) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O.
1990 c.M.45, as amended;
AND WHEREAS by By-Law 5137/97, the Council of Th~ Corporation of the Town of Picketing
declared the lands being those parts of Block 24, Plan 40M-1538, Picketing, designated as Parts 15, 16
and 18, Plan 40R-17151 as surplus to the needs of the Municipality;
AND WHEREAS The Corporation of the Town of Picketing desires to sell part of the surplus lands to
the owner of the abutting lands;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. Those lands lying and being in the Town of Pickering, in the Regional Municipality of Durham
legally described as thom parts of Block 24, Plan 40M-1538, rickering, designated as Parts 15,
· 16 and 18, Plan 40R- 17151 shall be sold to the owners of the abutting lands for the sum of $2.00.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 15th day of December, 1997.
