DISPOSITION
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERINO
BY-LAW NO. 5154/97
Being a by-law to authorize the sale of surplus municipal
lands being that part of ,4ppleview Road, Plan 1051,
Pickering, designated as Part X, Plan 40R-XXXXX, in
accordance with B~/-Law 4592/95.
WHEREAS, The Town of Picketing on April 3, 1995 passed By-Law 4592/95 to establish procedures
to regulate the sale of Municipal Real Property pursuant to section 193(2) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O.
1990 e.M.45, as amended;
WHEREAS the Corporation of the Town of Picketing is the owner of certain lands in Appleview Road,
Plan 1051, Picketing, designated as Part X, Plan 40R-XXXXX (one foot reserve);
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 191 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O., 1990, c. M 45, the
Council of the Town of Picketing may dispose of lands no longer required for municipal purposes;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
Those lands lying and being in the Town of Picketing, in the Regional Municipality of Durham
legally described as that part of Appleview Road, Picketing, and being more particularly set out
as Part X, Plan 40R-XXXXX shall be sold to the owner of the abutting lands legally described as
Lot 89, Plan 1051, Picketing, for a nominal fee in accordance with By-Law 4592/95.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 15th day of December, 1997.
