DISPOSITION
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
BY-LAW NO. 5116/97
Being a by.law ~ amend By-law 1562/82 temporarily
clostng roads for construction purposes (~4ppleview
Road)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the predecessor of section 297 (c) of the Municipal Act,
R.S.O. 1990, chapter M.45, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering enacted By-law
1562/82, providing for the temporary closing of roads under the jurisdiction of the Town for
construction purposes;
AND WHEREAS, it is neces.~atty to amend tha~ By-law in certain respects;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. Schedule A to By-law 1562/82 is her~:~y amended by adding thereto Item 224, set out in
Schedule I to this by-law.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 22nd of September, 1997.

LOCATION MAP
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE:
Applcview Road - from Dunbarton Road north to Bonita Avenue,
Road closed from/including September 29, 1997 to/including October 31, 1997.
CONSTRUCTION DURATION:
Approximately 2 weeks,
CONSTRUCTION INCLUDES:
Installation of Sanitary Sewers
· on Appleview Road, from Bonita Avenue, to 150 metres south, to provide
servicing and connections for existing properties
Road Restoration
· on Appleview Road, from Bonita Avenue, to 150 metres south
