Being a by-law to establish the dates of the Advance Polls for.
the regular election to be held in 1997.
WHEREAS pursuant to section 43(1) of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, S.O. 1996, c.
32, as amended, the council ora local municipality shall pass a by-law establishing one or
more dates for an advance vote and the hours du~ng which voting places shall be open on
that date or dates;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The dates and times for the advance vote for the 1997 regular election shall be as
follows:
Saturday, November 1, 1997 between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday, November 5, 1997 between !0:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 15th day of September,
1997.
