WHEREAS, it is necessary to remove t¥om title an Agreement between the Town and Cougs Investments Ltd. dated November 28, 1994 and registered December 2, 1994 as Instrument No. LT 704369 as it relates to the lands now described as that Part of Lot 31, Concession 1, Pickering, designated as Parts I and 2, Plan 40R-16806', NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Release of an Agreement dated November 28, 1994 and registered December 2, 1994 as it relates to the lands described as that Part of Lot 31, Concession I, Picketing, designated as Part I and 2, Plan 40R-16806. BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 15th day of September~ 1997. · Bruce Taylor, Clerk SCH~'DULE "A" RELEASE In consideration of the sum of Two Dollars ($2.00) paid to it, receipt of which is hereby by it acknowledged, THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING hereby releases and forever discharges COUGS INVESTMENTS LTD. his heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, of and from all claims, demands, damages, actions or causes of action which may have arisen, are arising, or may arise as a result of or in any way related to a Development Agreement regislered as Instrument No. LT704369 on December 2, 1994, between THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PiCKER1NG and COUGS INVESTMENTS LTD insofar as it relates to those parts of Lot 3 I, Concession 1, Pickering, designated as Parts 1 and 2, 40R- 16806. IN WITNESS WHEREOF The Corporation of the Town of Pickering has hereunto affixed its corporate seal attested by its properly authorized officers this 15th day of September, 1997.
