DISPOSITION
THE CORPORATION OF THE__TOWN OF PICKERING
Being a by-law to ,]itrther amend By-law 2632/88 to
provide Jbr the ereclion of a stop sign at a certain
intersection within the Town ~f Pickering.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of section 137 of the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chap.
H.8, the council of a municipality may by by-law provide for the erection of stop signs at intersections
on highways under its jurisdiction;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing ttEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. A stop sign shall be erected at the intersection of the highway set out in Column I, facing the
traffic bound in the direction set out in Column 1I.
2. Schedule A to By-law 2632/88, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding thereto the
following items:
Column I Colunm Il
Whitevale Road and Regional Road Westbound on Whitevale Road
#27 (Altona Road)
3. This by-law shall not come into lbrce unless it is approved by the Council of the Regional
Municipality of Durham pursuant to the Regional Municipalities Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter R.8,
section 34.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 5th day of August, 1997.
