BY-LAW
Being a by.law to authorize the purchase of lands
being desil/,nated as Pan I, on Plan 40R-17686 and
Pan 1, on Plan 40R-0418. Picketing, from the
Municipality. of Metropolitan Toronto.
WttEREAS. Thc Corporation of the Town of Pickcring desires to purchase certain lands in
Pickering from the Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto. for municipal purposes.
NOW TltEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering itFRFBY ENACTS
AS FOLLOW,';:
1. The Corporation uf the To~n of Pickering ix hereby authorized to purchase those lands
described as Part I, Plan 40R-17686 together with the lands described as Purl I, Plan 40R-
9418. Pickering, from the Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto. at a purchase price of
$2.00, in accordance with an Agreement dated April 4, 1996, made between The Corporation
of the Town of Picketing and thc Pro~ incc t)f ()ntario and the MunicipaliD of Metropolitan
'Fomnlo.
2. The Ma?r and th~ ('lcrk arc hcrcb.~ :mthorizcd to execute all documentation necessary to
give citijet to thc said purchase lransactions.
