Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 264/75 to
establish a 60 kilometer per hour speed limit on Salem
Road between the Fifth Concession Road ,md ttighway
No, 7.
WHEREAS, By-law Number 264/75 allows Council to authorize speed limits on highways under the
jurisdiction of the Town of Picketing;
AND WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient to establish the speed limit on Salem Road between the Fifth
Concession Road and Highway No. 7 at 60 kilometers per hour;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
Schedule "C" to B¥-l,,w Number 264/75 is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:

Salem Road Fifth Concession Road Highway No. 7
2. This By-law shall take effect upon approval by the Regional Municipality of Durham.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 23rd day of June 1997.
