HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 3840/91THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 3840/91 Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 3037, as amended, to implement the Official Plan of the Town of Pickering District Planning Area, Region of Durham on Parts of Lots 1 and 2, Plan 40M-1538 (Parts 1, 2 and 5, 40R-13714), in the Town of Pickering. (A m/gl) WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering passed By-law 220¥86 amending By-law 303fi, to amend certain development provisions applicable to the subject lands; ~ AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering now deems it desirable to further amend By-law 2209/86 to permit the establishment of a reduced minimum lot area; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: I. TEXT AMENDMENTS Section 5 of By-law 2209/86 is hereby further amended by adding thereto the following clause: (c) EXCEPTION CR6" Zone) (i) Despite the minimum lot area provision of Subsection 5.(1)(b)(i), the minimum lot area fl)r lots within that part of Lots 1 and 2, Plan 40M-1538, designated as Parts 1, 2 and 5, Plan 40R-13714, shall be 2,290 square metres. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing hereof subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board, if required.
