BY-LAW NUMBER 3839/91
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number
~680/9~ to provide for the
establishment, maintenance and
operation of certain community
recreation centres within the Town of
Pickering.
Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
enacted By-law Number 3680/91 on the 18th day of March, 1991
pursuant to the provisions of subsection 1 of section 2 of the
Community Recreation Centres Act, 1980, c. 80, to provide for the
establishment, maintenance and operation of one or more community
recreation centres in accordance with that Act; and
Whereas Members of Council have expressed a desire to rename the
Pine Ridge Community Park as the Beverley Morgan Community Park;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Part 3 of Schedule "A" of By-law Number 3680/91 is hereby
amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Pickering Athletic Fields
Part Lot 22
Concession 2
and substituting therefor the following:
Beverley Morgan Community Park
Block 87, Plan 40M-1257
and Part Lot 22,
Concession 2
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this
16th day of September, 1991.
