BY-LAW NO. 3822/91
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a Release
and Discharge of the Subdivision Agreement respecting
Plan 40M-1342, Pickering.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Planning Act, 1983, S.O. 1983, c.1, s.50, or a predecessor thereof, The
Corporation of the Town of Picketing and J.F. Coughlan Construction Co. Limited and Alastair Mackay
Realty Inc. entered into an Agreement dated May 7, 1984 Notice of which was registered on May 6,
1985 as Instrument No. LT231558, respecting the subdivision and development of Plan 40M-1342,
Pickering; and
WHEREAS the terms and conditions of that Agreement have been complied with to the satisfaction of
the Town;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
The Mayor and Clerk axe hereby authorized to execute a Release and Dischaxge, in the form
attached hereto as Schedule A, of the Ag~ement dated May 7, 1984, Notice of which was
registered May 6, 1985 as Instrument No. LT231558, between J.F. Coughlan Construction Co.
Limited and Alastair Mackay Realty Inc. and The Corporation of the Town of Fickering,
respecting the subdivis/on and development of Plan 40M-1342, Picketing.
2. Schedule A hereto forms part of this By-law.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 16th day of September, 1991.

RELEASE AND DISCHARGE
WHEREAS the Agreement dated May 7, 1984, Notice of which was registered May 6, 1985, in the
Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Durham (No. 40) as Instmment No. LT231558,
between,
J.F. COUGHLAN CONSTRUCTION CO. LIMITED
and
ALASTAIR IvI_A~KAY REALTY INC~.
hereinafter referred to as the "Company"
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
hereinafter referred to as the "Town",
provided for the subdivision and development of lands affected hereby; and
WHEREAS the terms and conditions of that Agreement have been complied with to the satisfaction of
the Town with respect to the lands affected hereby;
THE TOWN HEREBY remises, releases and forever discharges the Company, its successors and
assigns, from any and all liabilities, actions, causes of action, debts, claims or demands of any kind
whatsoever which the Company may have been, is, or may become subject to pursuant to the provisions
of the Agreement.
THIS RELEASE AND DISCHARGE affects the lands described as:
Lots 1-38, Blocks 39-42, Plan 40M-1342, Town of Picketing, Regional Municipality of Durham.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the Town has hereunto affixed its corporate seal, attested to by its properly
authorized officers.
