HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 3803/91THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 3803/91 Being a by-law to appoint By-law Enforcement Officers for certain purposes (Parking Regulation 1400, 1410 and 1420 Bayly Street) Whereas pursuant to the provisions of section 70 of the Police Act, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 381, as amended, the council of any municipality or trustees of any police village may appoint one or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace officers for the purpose of enforcing the by-laws of the municipality or police village; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: Mr. Jimmy London is hereby appointed as a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer in an for the Town of Pickering and is hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable times upon lands municipally known as 1400, 1410 and 1420 Bayly Street in order to ascertain whether the provisions of By-law 2359/87 are obeyed and to enforce or carry into effect the said By-law. The authority granted in section 1 hereto is specifically limited to that set out in section l, and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in section 1. This appointment shall expire upon Mr. London ceasing to be an employee of Indulex Realty Management Inc. or upon Indulex Realty Management Inc. ceasing to be an authorized agent of those lands municipally known as 1400, 1410 and 1420 Bayly Street, whichever shall occur first.
