passed on the 18th day of July, 1574, a certain portion of the original
allowance for roars between Lots Nmvbers Thirty and Thirty-one in the
Uourth Concession of the said Township was vested in one Augustus Varo,
the then owner of the North. Easterly quarter of said Lot 31 and of the
Westerly quarter of the :Iortlr half of said Lot 30, and the said allow-
ance established as a public Highway partly on the on ;inal allowance auil
partly on said Lot :30, on land ?dven for the purpose by tie said au rrstis
Varo;
A' fl) W13Y EAS the said Augustus Varo took possession of the portion of said
original allowance vested in him by the said By-Law at orrce after the
passi.n- ' thereof and fenced it in with his said land on Lot 31, and it
has ever since been so fenced in and held by the owners who succeeded
the sari Augustus Varo, and is now hel] by tire present owners of the sari
Vorth -')asterly quarter of Lot Number 131 (exceptin certain parts).

now ask for a conveyance to them, as successors in title to the said
Augustus Varo an3 subsequent owners of the sail land, of the portion
of said on -irial allowance for road vested as aforesaid in the said
Ar-imustus Varo by the said 13y-Law 'To. 374, and appear to be entitled to
the same ;

the Township of Pickerinm
THAT the sleeve and Clerk of the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering, be hereby authorized and instructed, for an-.1 on behalf of the
said Corporation, to execute a Deed_ of Conveyance to the said Albert

ori_,rinal allowance for road between Lots Numbers Thirty and 'thirty-one
in the Fourtli Concession of the said Township of Pickering which was
vested as aroresaid in Augustus Varo by the said nay-Taw Nmnber 374,
the same bein, more particularly described as Commeflcin; on the west-
erly limit of the sail original allowance for road, at the distance of
twenty-two links northerly from the centre of the said Concession and
running Thence Nort,r mine degrees East two chains and thirty,4ix links,
more or less, to the easterly limit of the said ori.-;inal allowance for
road; Thence North sixteen de?;rees dest ten chains and twenty-five links;
Thence tdort,i forty-eight degrees .Jest one c}rain and eie•hty-nine links,
more or less, to the westerly limit of the said ori.Anal allowance;
Th.ence South sixteen de;rees East fourteen chains, more or less, to tite

BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THEREEVS AND CIAHK, FOR THE CORPORATION OF THIS
TOWNSHIP OF PICKIMING, TO MARS A CONVEYANCE OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF
THE ORIGINAL ALLOWANCE FOR ROAD BETWEEN LOTS NUMBERS 30 AND 31 IN
THIS FOURTH CONCESSION OF THE SAID TOWNSHIP TO THE OWNERS OF THE NORTH
EASTERLY QUARTER OF THE SAID LOT NUMBER THIRTY-ONE.
WBFJIFAS by By-Law No. 374 of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering,
passed on the 18th day of July, 1874, a certain portion of the original
allowance for road between Lots Numbers Thirty and Thirty-one in the
Fourth Concession of the said Township was vested in one Augustus Varo,
the then owner of the North Easterly quarter of said Lot 31 and of the
Westerly quarter of the North half of said lot 30, and the said allow-
ance established as a public highway partly on the original allowance and
partly on said lot 30, on land given for the purpose by the said Augustus
Varo;
AIM.WHSHEAS the said Augustus Varo took possession of the portion of sold
original allowance vested in him by the said by-Law at once after the
passing thereof and fended it in with his said land on Lot 31, and it
has ever since been so fenced in and held by the owners who succeeded
the said Augustus Varo, and is now held by the present owners of the said
North 13asterly quarter of Lot Number 31 (excepting certain parts).

Lot 31 excepting parts), Albert Ernest Fleming and Charles Alfred Nevin,
now ask for a conveyance to them, as successors in title to the said
Augustus Varo and subsequent owners of the said land, of the portion
of said original allowance for road vested as aforesaid in the said
Augustus Varo by the said By-w No. 374, and appear to be entitled to
the same;

Pickering Be hereby authorised and instructed, for and on behalf of the

original allowance for road between Lots Numbers Thirty and Thirty-ono
in the Fourth Concession of the said Township of Pickering which was
vested as aforesaid in Augustus Vero by the said By-raw Number 374,
the saw being more particularly described as Commiedoing on the west-
erly limit of the said original allowance for road, at the distance of
twenty-two links northerly from the centre of the said Concession and
running Thence North nine degrees East two chains and thirtyt*six links,
more or less, to the easterly limit of the said original allowance for
road; Thence North sixteen degrees West ten chains and twenty-five links;
Thence North forty-eight degrees West one chain and eighty-nine links,
more or less, to the westerly limit of the said original allowance;
Thence South sixteen degrees East fourteen chains, more or lose, to the
