A by-law to authorize the Reeve and
Clerk to siqn an agreement between
the Township of Pickering and
William A. McKay and Melba McKay.
WHEREAS by an agreement dated March 5th, 1970, the vendors
agreed to permit the purchaser to purchase from the vendors
or sell on behalf of the vendors all of the lands of the
vendors except for a parcel having an acreage of 4.85 acres
more or less on which their home and out buildings are
located, during the 18 month period commencing March 5th,
1970;
AND WHEREAS by an agreement made on the second day of December,
1970, the vendors agreed to permit the purchaser to purchase
the lands provided therein from the vendors or sell the lands
provided therein on behalf of the vendors at any time until
March 5, 1972;
AND WHEREAS the purchaser has requested the vendors grant a
further extension of time to permit the purchaser to purchase
the land provided for therein from the vendors or sell the
land provided for therein on behalf of the vendors at any
time until November 5, 1972;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED that the Reeve and Clerk be authorized
to execute said agreement.
By-Law read a First, Second and Third Time and PASSED this
