being a by-law to dedicate
certain lands as public
highways.
WHEREAS the lands described firstly to sixthly, both
inclusive, Schedule "A" hereto were conveyed to the Corporation
of the Township of Pickering for road widening purposes to
satisfy conditions of the Committe of Adjustment to be fulfilled
by W. J. Keast, Lauderhall Investments Limited, the Estate of
W. B. Milne, J. Satnik, R&R.Simons and Levi Smith respectively
prior to the granting of consents to convey abutting lands and
it is necessary to dedicate the said lands as public highways
so that the abutting lands will have frontage on a public highway;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE:
TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the lands described in Schedule "An annexed
hereto and forming part of this by-law are hereby dedicated as
a public highway,
READ a first, second and third time and passed in
open Council this day of 1971.

SCHEDULE "All
ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of
land and premises situate lying and being in the Township of
Pickering in the County of Ontario and being composed of:
FIRSTLY:
That part of Lot Ten in the Eighth Concession for the
said Township, which said parcel may be more particularly des-
cribed as follows:
PREMISING that the bearing of the west limit of the said Lot 10,
Concession 8, is North 17 degrees 27 minutes 30 seconds West
and relating all bearings used herein thereto; then
COMMENCING at a point in the west limit of the said Lot 10,
distant southerly therein 1,347.50 feet from the north-west
angle thereof;
THENCE North 72 degrees 32 minutes 30 seconds East a distance
of 10.00 feet;
THENCE South 17 degrees 27 minutes 30 seconds East parallel to
the said west limit of Lot 10, a distance of 516.51 feet;
THENCE South 72 degrees 32 minutes 30 seconds West to a point
of intersection with the said west limit of Lot 10, a distance
of 10.0 feet;
THENCE North 17 degrees 27 minutes 30 seconds West along the
said west limit, a distance of 516.51 feet more or less to
the POINT OF COMMENCEMENT.
SECONDLY:
That part of Lot 50 according to Registrar's
Compiled Plan No. $20, the boundaries of said parcel are
described as follows:
PREMISING that the south limit of said Lot50-has a bearing of
North 74 degrees 00 minutes East and relating all bearings
herein thereto; then
COMMENCING at the south-west angle of Lot 50;
THENCE North 74 degrees 00 minutes East along the south limit
of Lot 50 a distance of 50.00 feet to the south-east angle
thereof;
THENCE North 16 degrees 00 minutes West along the east limit
of said Lot a distance of 27.00 feet;
THENCE South 74 degrees 00 minutes West a distance of 49.96
feet to a point in the West limit of Lot 50;
THENCE South 15 degrees 55 minutes 50 seconds Fast along said
west limit, a distance of 27.00 feet to the POINT OF COMMENCFMENT.
THIRDLY:
That part of Lot Number 7 in the Fifth Concession
of the said Township, which said Parcel may be more particularly
described as follows:
PREMISING that the bearing of the easterly limit of the said
Lot 7, Concession 5, is North 19 degrees 10 minutes 10 seconds
West and relating all bearings herein thereto; then
COMMENCING at a point in the easterly limit of the said Lot 7,
Concession 5 distant southerly therein 1,052.56 feet from the
north-easterly angle thereof.
THENCE continuing South 19 degrees 10 minutes, 10 seconds,
east along the said easterly limit of Lot 7 a distance of
343.08 feet.
THENCE South 71 degrees 22 minutes 50 seconds West a distance
of 10 feet.
THENCE North 19 degrees 10 minutes 10 seconds West parallel to
the east limit of the said Lot 7 toa post and wire fence a
distance of 343.0$ feet.
THENCE North 71 degrees 22 minutes 50 seconds East in and
along the said post and wire fence a distance of 10 feet more
or less to the POINT OF COMMENCEMENT.
FOURTHLY:
That part of Lot 1 according to Registered Plan
Number 330 for the said Township of Pickering, the boundaries of
of said parcel are described as follows:
PRFMISING that the west limit of said Lot 1 has a bearing of
North 16 degrees 55 minutes West and relating all bearings
herein thereto; then
COMMENCING at a point in the west limit of said Lot 1 distant
100.00 feet measured South 16 degrees 55 minutes East therein
from the north-west angle thereof;
THENCE north 73 degrees 00 minutes 50 seconds east parallel
to the north limit of the said Lot 1 a distance of 10.0 feet
to a point;
THENCE South 16 degrees 57 minutes 30 seconds Fast a distance of
100.00 feet to a point;
THENCE South 73 degrees 00 minutes 50 seconds west a distance of
10.00 feet to a point in the west limit of said Lot 1;
THENCE North 16 degrees 55 minutes west along said west limit
of Lot 1 a distance of 100.00 feet to the POINT OF COMMENCEMENT.
FIFTHLY:
That part of Lot 11 in the Fifth concession of
the said Township, which said parcel may be more particularly
described as follows:
PREMISING that the bearing of the northerly limit of the said
Lot 11, Concession 5 is North 73 degrees 04 minutes 00 seconds
East and relating all bearings used herein thereto; then
COMMENCING at a point in the said north limit of Lot 11,
Concession 5, distant easterly therein 160.82 feet from the
northwest angle thereof;
THENCE North 73 degrees 04 minutes 00 seconds east along the
said north limit a distance of 78 feet;
THENCE South 19 degrees 20 minutes 30 seconds east to a point
of intersection with a line drawn parallel to the said
northerly limit and distant southerly therefrom 10 feet
measured at right angles thereto a distance of 10 feet;
THENCE South 73 degrees 04 minutes 00 seconds west a distance
of 78 feet;
THENCE North 19 degrees 20 minutes 30 seconds West a distance
of 10 feet more or less to the POINT OF COMMENCEMENT.
SIXTHLY:
That part of Lot 301 Concession Nine of the said
Township and more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the north west angle of said Lot 30;
THENCE southerly along the westerly limit of said Lot 30,
523.42 feet to a point in the said westerly limit of said Lot 30;
THENCE continuing southerly along the westerly limit of said
Lot 30, 478.33 feet to an iron pipe in the westerly limit of
said Lot 30, the point of commencement herein;
THENCE North 83 degrees 41 minutes 30 seconds East 10.17
feet to a point;
THENCE North 16 degrees 44 minutes West parallel to the
westerly limit of said Lot 309 238.48 feet to an iron bar;
THENCE South 75 degrees 56 minutes West 10 feet more or
less to a point in the westerly limit of said Lot 30;
THENCE southerly along the westerly limit of said Lot 30,
238 feet more or less to the POINT OF COMMENCEMENT.
