BY-LAW NO. C' 3
A By-law to exempt Block "V", Plan M-19, a -maod? 5/71
Registered Plan of Subdivision in the
Township of Pickering, from the provisions
of sub-section 4 of section 26 of the
Planning Act, R.S.O. 1960, Chapter 296,
as amended by The Planning Amendment Act, 1970.
WHEREAS Block "V" is a Parcel of land on Plan M-19, a
Registered Plan of Subdivision in the Township of
Pickering, which was registered in the Office of Land
Titles at Whitby, in the County of Ontario.
AND WHEREAS the Township of Pickering has a proposed
official Plan.
AND WHEREAS sub-section 4 of section 26 of The Planning
Act, R.S.O. 1960, Chapter 296 as amended by The Planning
Amendment Act, 1970 places part-lot control on land within
a registered plan of subdivision;
AND WHEREAS sub-section 5 of section 26 of The Planning
Act, R.S.O. 1960, Chapter 296 as amended by The Planning
Amendment Act, 1970 provides that a municipality may by
By-law provide that sub-section 4 of section 26 does not
apply to land within such registered plan;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Pickering enacts as follows:-
1. That sub-section 4 of section 26 of The Planning
Act R.S.O. 1960, Chapter 296 as amended by The Planning
Amendment Act, 1970 does not apply to Block "V" of Plan
M-19.
