Pursuant to Part VI.1 of the Municipal Act, 2001

Direction to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and Director, Human
Resources to change the staff complement in the City Development Department
In accordance with subsection 284.3 and 284.16 of the Municipal Act, 2001 (the “Act”),
the Mayor hereby directs the CAO and Director, Human Resources to:
1. Change the Non-Union Full-Time position of Senior Planner, Housing, under the
Office of Affordability in the City Development Department, to a Temporary Non-
Union (contract) position for one year; and,
2. That this change be reflected in the 2024 Current Budget for the Mayor’s
approval.
This direction takes effect on January 9, 2024 and remains in effect unless and until it is
revoked in writing by the Mayor.
