BY-LAW NUMBER 3755/91
Being a by-law respecting remuneration
for Members of Council.
Whereas pursuant to the provisions of section 238.1 of the Municipal
Act, R.S.O. 1980, c. 302, as amended, the council may pass by-laws
for paying remuneration to the Members of Council; and
Whereas it is now deemed expedient to establish the remuneration to
be paid to Members of Council for the year 1991;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The remuneration payable to the Mayor shall be $40,741.00 per
annum or $200.00 per meeting commencing December l, 1990.
2. The remuneration payable to a Councillor shall be $15,479 per
annum or $100.00 per meeting commencing December 1, 1990.
3. This by-law shall be effective from December l, 1990.
