Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 3036, as amended, to
implement the Official Plan of the Town of Pickering District Planning Area, Region of
Durham in Part of Lot 6, Plan 282 (Part 1, Plan 40R-13573), in the Town of Pickering.

WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering deems it desirable to
permit lot frontage to be calculated at an increased setback from the front lot line, in Part of
Lot 6, Plan 282 (Part 1, 40R-13573), in the Town of Picketing;
AND WHEREAS an amendment to By-law 3036, as amended, is therefore deemed necessary;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF TI-IL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOI.I -OWS:
1. BY-LAW 3036
By-law 3036, passed by the Council of the Corporation of the Township (now Town) of
Pmkering on the 3rd day of August 1965, and approved by the Ontario Municipal Board on
the 7th day of October 1966, and amended from time to time, is hereby further amended
only to the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions of Sections 2 hereof.
TEXT AMENDMENT
Section 10 of By-law 3036, is hereby further amended by adding thereto the following
subsection:
10.3.7 Part of Lot 6, Plan 282, (Part 1, Plan 40R-13573)
(1) Despite the provisions of Section 5.14 of By-law 3036, the lot frontage for the
lands being Part of Lot 6, Plan 282, Pickering, designated Part l, Plan
40R-13573, shall be measured between the side lot lines on a line 18.5 metres
back from and parallel to the front lot line abutting Rockwood Drive.
EFFECTIVE DATE
This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing hereof subject to the approval of the
Ontario Municipal Board, if required.
