BY-LAW NUMBER 3668/91
Being a by-law to amend By-law 1887/84
(Business Licensing) to provide for an
increased licence fee for markets
Whereas pursuant to section ll of By-law 1887/84 (Business Licensing) as
amended by By-law Number 3409/90, upon application on the prescribed form
for a licence for a market or proposed market, a licence may be issued on
payment of a fee of $4,000.00 per operating day; and
Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing has
deemed it expedient to increase the said fee to $4,200.00 per operating
day;
Now Therefore The Council Of The Corporation Of The Town Of Pickering
Hereby Enacts As Follows:
Section ll of By-law 1887/84 as amended by By-law 3409/90 is hereby
deleted and the following substituted therefor:

Upon application on the prescribed form for a licence for a
market or proposed market, a licence may be issued on
payment of a fee of $4,200.00 per operating day.
2. This by-law shall take effect on March l, 1991.
3. By-law Number 3409/90 is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 18th
day of February, 1991.
