By-law No. 7959/22
Being a by-law to amend By-law 7591/17, which regulates
election signs in the City of Pickering.
Whereas it is appropriate to clarify that an election sign must be no larger than 1.2 meters by
0.8 meters in size, regardless of whether the longer dimension is the length or the width of the
election sign,
Now therefore the Council of The Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby enacts as follows:
1.That Subsection 06.14 c) is hereby repealed and replaced with the following:
c) that has dimensions exceeding 1.2 meters by 0.8 meters;
2.This By-law shall come into effect the day of its passing.
By-law passed this 18th day of August, 2022.
