BY-LAW NUMBER 4685/95
Being a by-law to appoint By-law Enforcement
Officers for certain purposes (Parking Regulation -
905 Bayly Street, D.C.C. #129)
Whereas pursuant to the provision of section 15(i) of the Police Services Act., R.S.O. 1990,
chapter PIS, as amended, the council of any municipality or trustees of any police village may
appoint one or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace officers for the
purpose of enforcing the by-laws oftbe municipality or police village;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following persons are hereby appointed as municipal law enforcement officers in
and for the Town of Picketing and are hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable
times upon lands municipally known as 905 Bayly Street, D.C.C. #129, in order to
ascertain whether the provisions of By-law 2359/87 are obeyed and to enforce or carry
into effect the said By-law:
Robert James Mitchell
Darryi John Gordon
Omar Qorane Mohamed
Neil James Sugars
Darren William Farris
Gordon William George Taylor
2. The authority granted in section ! hereto is specifically limited to that set out in section
I, and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in section I.
3. This appointment shall expire upon the persons appointed in section 1 hereof ceasing
to be an employee of Authorized Parking Only Ltd. or upon Authorized Parking Only
Ltd. ceasing to be an authorized agent of 905 Bayly Street, D.C.C. #129, whichever
shall occur first.
