BY-LAW NUMBER 4614/95
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 1769/83 to prohibit
or regulate the keeping and running at large of ce~tain
animals.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing enacted By-law
Number 1769/83 on September 17, 1984 to prohibit or regulate the keoping and lnmnlng
at large ofenrta'm animals; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend this by-law to allow for the keeping of two
ferrets per household in both the urban and rural areas of the Town;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Schedule A-2 of By-law Number 1769/83 is hereby amended by deleting therefore
the following:
16. Mustelidae
and substituting therefor the following:
16. Mustelidae (excluding ferrets)
2. Schedule B-2 of By-law Number 1769/83 is hereby amended by deleting therefi'om
the following:
13. Mustelidae
and substituting therefor the following:
13. Mustelidae (excluding ferrets)
3. Schedule "C" of By-law Number 1769/83 is hereby amended by adding thereto the
following:
