BY-LAW NUMBER 4612/95
Being a by-law to amend the Town of Picketing Municipal
Code to levy such rates against all of the assessed properties
in the Town of Picketing as will be required to cover the 1995
requisitions from the Durham Board of Education and the
Durham Region Roman Catholic School Board
Whereas the Durham Board of Education and the Durham Region Roman Catholic Separate
School Board have requisitioned the Council of the Town of Picketing for certain sums of money
being the Town's share of 1995 operating and capital costs of various Elementary and Secondary
Schools under 1995 jurisdiction:
Now Therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing Hereby Enacts as
follows:
1. Sections 2210.9, 2210.12 and 2210.13 of the Town of Picketing Municipal Code are
hereby deleted and the following substituted therefor:
2210.9 There shall be raised, levied and collected from and upon all the rateable
property in the Town of Picketing the rates and sums set out in sections
2210.12 and 2210.13 to levy the 1995 requisition from the Durham Board
of Education and the Durham Region Roman Catholic Separate School
Board.
