Being a by-law to appoint By-law Enforcement
Officers for certain purposes (Parkin~ Re~dntio0 =
1400 The Esplanade North).
Whereas pursuant to the proviaion of section 150) of the Police Servicea Act., R.S.O. 1990,
chapter PIS, ns amended, the counc'd of any municipality or tru~ of any police vill~e may
appoint one or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace officers for the
purpose of enforc'm8 the by-laws of the municipality or police village;
NOW THI~-REFOILE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
i. The following persons are hereby appointed as municipal law enforcement officers in
and for the Town of Pickering and are hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable
times upon lands municipally known as 1400 The Esplanade North, order to ascertain
whether the provisions of By-law 2359/87 are obeyed and to enforce or carry into
effect the said By-law:
Warren Dale
Bill Heard
Mike Bellemore
Darren Mulligan
Ivan Farrell
2. The authority granted in section I hereto is specifically limited to that set out in section
I, and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in section I.
3. This appointment shall expke upon the persons appointed in section I hereof ceasing
to be an employee of Group 4 C.P.S. Limited or upon Group 4 C.P.S. Limited ceasing
to he an authorized agent of 1400 The Esplanade North, whichever shall occur first.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 6th day of March, 1995.
