BY-LAW NO,
Being a by-law to name highways or portions of
highways within the jurisdiction of the Town to which a
reduced load period designation applies and to repeal
By-law 4399/94.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chap. H.8, section 122(7), or a
predecessor thereof, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering enacted By-law 4399/94
designating the date on which a reduced load period shall start or end and the highway or portion thereof
under its jurisdiction to which the designation applies:
AND WHEREAS, new streets have been created which require the designation of a reduced load period;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. For the purposes of subsections (1), (2) and (3) of section 122 of the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O.
1990, Chap. H.8, the reduced load period shall be that period commencing on March 1st of each
year and ending on April 30th, both inclusive, of each year.
2. The highways to which the reduced load period designation applies shall be those highways or
portions thereof as set out in Schedule A attached hereto.
3. By-law 4399/94 is hereby repealed.

By-laws 3823/91, 3829/91, 3836/91, 3851/91, 3953/92,
3959/92, 4025/92, 4307/93 and 4349/93.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Highway Traffic zlct, R.S.O. 1990, Chap. H.8, section 122(7), or a
predecessor thereof, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing enacted By-laws 3823/91,
3829/91, 3836/91, 3851/91, 3953/92, 3959/92, 4025/92, 4307/93 and 4349/93 design, ating the date on
which a reduced load period shall start or end and the highway or portion thereof under its jurisdiction to
which the designation applies:
AND WHEREAS, new streets have been created which require the designation of a reduced load period;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
