BY-LAW NUMBER 4580/95
Being a by-law to fix the salaries of the Commissioners of
the Picketing Hydro-Electric Commission for the
period commenc'mg December l, 1994 and expiring on
November 30, 1995.
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of ~-'tion 44(1) of the Public Utilities Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.
P.52, the salary of such commissioners shall fi.om time to time be fixed by the Council of the
Corporation of the Town of Picketing;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY
ENACTS as follows:
1. The salaries of the members of the Picketing Hydro-Electric Commission for the period
fi.om December I, 1994 to November 30, 1995, he set as follows:
a) Chairman $3,600.00 per annum
b) Commissioner $3, i 00.00 per annum
2. That a per diem salary apply to special meetings, seminars and conferences other than the
regularly scheduled monthly Commission Meetings as follows:
$50.00 per day for each day or part thereof for
which a member attends additional meetings.
3. For the purposes of section 2, the term "special meetings" shall mean,
a) convention and seminars,
b) any meeting of a designated committee or subcommittee of the Commission, and
c) any meeting of the Commission occurring outside the Town of Picketing, other
than a regularly scheduled meeting of the Commission.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED this 20th day of February,
1995.
