BY-LAW NUMBER 4577/95
Being a by-law to appoint By-law Enforcement
Officers for certain purposes (Parking Regndatlon -
Casitas at Discovery Phw~e).
Where~s pursuant to the provision of section 15(I) of the Police Services Act., R.S.O. 1990,
chaptex Pi5, as amended, the council of any municipality or trustees of any police village may
appoint one or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace officers for the
purpose of enforcing the by-laws of the municipality or police village;
NOW TI-mREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following persons are hereby appointed as municipal law enforcement officers in
and for the Town of Picketing and are hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable
times upon lands municipally known as 1400 The Esplanade North - Casitas at
Discovery Place, in order to ascertain whether the provisions of By-law 2359/87 are
obeyed and to enforce or carry into effect the said By-law:

Henry Veinot
Don Campbell
Kris McCarthy
Steward Short
Kevin Crawford
2. The authority granted in section I hereto is specifically limited to that set out in section
t, and shall not be deemed, at any ftme, to exceed the authority set out in section I.
3. This appointment shall expire upon the persons appointed in section I hereof ceasin8
to be an employee of Group 4 C.P.S. Limited or upon Group 4 C.P.S. Limited ceasin8
to be an authorized agent of Del Property Management Inc., whichever shall occur
first.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 6 'ih day of March 1995.
