HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 4576/95 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 4576/95 Being & by-law to appoint By-law Enforcement Officers for certain purpose~ (Parldn8 Ragulation - (}CC #11 & 2, DCC #32, 58, 51, 19, 52, 42 & 60). Whereas pursuant to the provision of section 15(1) of the Police Services Act., R.S.O. 1990, chapter PiS, as amended, the council of any municipality or txusteea of any police village may appoint one or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace officers for the purpose of enfor~'m8 the by-laws of the municipality or police village; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: I. The following persons are hereby appointed as municipal law enforcement officers in and for the Town of Picketing and are hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable times upon lands municipally known as 1235 Radom St. o OCC #11, 1360 Glenanna Rd. - DCC #32, 1975 Rosefield Rd. o DCC #58, 1958 Rosefield Rd. - DCC #51, 1210 Radom St. - DCC #19, 925 Bayly St. - OCC #2, 580 Eyer Dr. - Dec #52, 1310 Fieldlight Blvd. - DCC //42, 1915 Denmar Rd. - DCC #42, in order to ascertain whether the provisions of By-law 2359/87 are obeyed and to enforce or carry into effect the aaid By-law'. The authority granted in section I hereto is specifically limited to that set out in section I, and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in section 1. 3. This appointment shall expire upon the persons appointed in section 1 hereof ceasing to be an employee of Group 4 C.P.S. Limited or upon Group 4 C.P.S. Limited ceasing to be an authorized agent of OCC #11 & 2, DCC #32, 58, 51, 19, 52, 42 and 60, whichever shall occur first.
