Being a by-law to appoint By-law Enforcement
Officers for certain purposes (Parking Regulation -
1735 Bayly Street, Brock Commercial Centre and
905 Bayly Street, DCC 129)
Whereas pursuant to the provision of section 15(1) of the Police Services Act., R.S.O. 1990,
chapter P15, as amended, the council of any municipality or trustees of any police village may
appoint one or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace officers for the
purpose of enforcing the by-laws of the municipality or police village;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following persons be hereby appointed as municipal law enforcement officers in
and for the Town of Pickering and are hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable
times upon lands municipally known as 1735 Bayly St., Brock Commercial Centre
and 905 Bayly St., DCC 129 in order to ascertain whether the provisions of By-law
2359/87 are obeyed and to enforce or carry into effect the said By-law:

2. The authority granted in section 1 hereto is specifically limited to that set out in
section 1, and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in
section 1.
3. This appointment shall expire upon the persons appointed in section 1 hereof ceasing
to be employees of Nemesis Security Services Inc. or upon Nemesis Security Services
Inc. ceasing to be an authorized agent of 1735 Bayly St, Brock Commercial Centre or
upon persons appointed in section 1 hereof ceasing to be employees of Authorized
Parking Only Ltd. or Authorized Parking Only Ltd. ceasing to be an authorized agent
of 905 Bayly Street, DCC 129, whichever shall occur first.
4. By-law 4587/95 is hereby amended by deleting Omar Mohamed and Neil Sugars.
By-law 4925/97 is hereby amended by deleting Fiaz Mohamed.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 21o°t day of gpr5.1
