BY-LAW NO. 4956/97
Being a by-law to authorize the acquisition of those parts
of Lot 7, Concession 5, Pickering, designated as Parts 1
to 7, inclusive, Plan 40R-17440 for road widening
purposes (Salem Road).
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 191 and 297 (1) (b) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter M.45,
the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering may pass by-laws for acquiring lands and;
WHEREAS The Corporation of the Town of Pickering requires those parts of Lot 7, Concession 5,
Pickering, designated as Parts 1 to 7, inclusive Plan 40R-17440 for public road purposes;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The Corporation of the Town of Pickering shall acquire, from Richard Wagner, those parts of
Lot 7, Concession 5, Pickering, designated as Parts 1 to 7, Plan 40R-17440, for nominal
consideration, for road purposes.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 7th day of April, 1997.
