BY-LAW NUMBER 4925/97
Being a by-law to appoint By-law Enforcement
Officers for certain purposes (Parking Regulation -
DCC 107, 1655 and 1665 Picketing Parkway and
DCC 129, 905 Bayly St.)
Whereas pursuant to the provision of section 15(1) of the Police Services Act., R.S.O. 1990,
chapter P15, as amended, the council of any municipality or trustees of any police village may
appoint one or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace officers for the
purpose of enforcing the by-laws of the municipality or police village;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following persons be hereby appointed as municipal law enforcement officers in
and for the Town of Picketing and are hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable
times upon lands municipally known as DCC 107, 1655 and 1665 Picketing Parkway
and DCC 129, 905 Bayly Street, in order to ascertain whether the provisions of By-
law 2359/87 are obeyed and to enforce or carry into effect the said By-law:
a) DCC 107, 1655 and 1665 Picketing Parkway:
Matt Bertham Darren MacDonald
Frank Trentadue Shawn Lehr
Peter Petrunti Dave Nakashima
Scott Hunter Jason Rettie
Jacqueline Bulloch Rick Breen
Natasha Faria Adam Kellard
b) DCC 129, 905 Bayly Street:
Victoria Louise Chapman Fiaz Mohammed
2. The authority granted in section I hereto is specifically limited to that set out in section
1, and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in section 1.
3. These appointments shall expire upon the persons appointed in section I hereof
ceasing to be employees of Olympus Security and Authorized Parking Only Ltd. or
upon Olympus Security ceasing to be an authorized agent of 1655 and 1665 Picketing
Parkway or Authorized Parking Only Ltd. ceasing to be an authorized agent of 905
Bayly Street, whichever shall occur first.
4. By-law 3940/92 is hereby amended by deleting Philip Papantoniou. By-law 4579/95 is
hereby amended by deleting Daniel Angel and Joel Genoe.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this;to day of February,
1997.
