Welcome T. Ryce called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. T. Ryce requested that when the report on the Gas & Steam Barn is presented that committee members hold their questions until the content of the whole report can be presented. T. Ryce advised there will be a 5 minute per person time on questions related to the report. 2. Approval of Minutes and Agenda Motion: to accept the Agenda for the August 25th meeting. Moved: P. Moved: P. Savel Seconded: L. Drake Carried 3. Volunteer Nomination L. Drake presented the volunteer nomination of Barb Vranic for the Lieutenant Governor’s Heritage Trust Lifetime Award. Motion: that the Pickering Museum Village Advisory Committee nominate Barbara Vranic to receive the Lieutenant Governor’s Heritage Trust Lifetime Award for 2015. Moved: L. Drake Seconded: P. Savel Carried Motion: that the Pickering Museum Village Advisory Committee requests that Pickering’s City Council accepts and supports the motion to nominate Barbara Vranic for the Lieutenant Governor’s Heritage Trust Lifetime Award, as presented by the Pickering Museum Village Advisory Committee. 4. Review of Gas & Steam Barn Report V. Plouffe presented a summary report on the Gas & Steam Barn. M. Carpino provided closing comments on the report presented by V. Plouffe. The committee was provided with the opportunity to present questions to V. Plouffe regarding the Hazard Review and his report. T. Ryce requested that committee members review both documents at the subcommittee level; members are encouraged to ask questions directly to staff regarding the report, and to prepare questions for discussion and/or subcommittee motions and recommendations for the next full Advisory Committee meeting on September 22nd. The September meeting will be focusing on the budget. Motion: to adjourn the meeting. Moved: P.
