PRESENT: Karen Emmink John Sabean Susan Shewan Janet Mehak Peter Buerschaper Gail Wideman 1. Architectural Conservancy of Ontario John read out the letter he received from the Conservancy and explained what was required for us to have a volunteer from that agency examine the Palmer house and prepare a report for us. The costs are: $150 donation to the Conservancy to start the process, and about another $150 for out-of-pocket expenses of the member who does the work. Following a brief discussion a motion was put forward by Susan and seconded by Peter to. approve the funding and proceed with the Conservancy report. The motion was accepted unanimously. • 2. Community Heritage Ontario Annual Conference John announced that he would like to attend the CHO conference (as he attended last year's conference) and asked for approval and for an indication of others who would like to attend. None other present was able to attend. A motion was made by Susan and seconded by Karen to pay for John's attendance at the conference. The motion was accepted unanimously. • 3. Ontario Museum Association Social John announced that on Thursday, 30 April, the OMA Public Affairs and Membership Committee is hosting a wine and cheese social. Since we are a member organization our members are welcome to attend. • 4. Adjournment • The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
