A meeting of the Audit Committee was held on April 24, 1996 at 4:00 p.m. in Meeting

Room 1 of the Pickering Civic Complex. The following matters were discussed:
1. Report of the Auditors Respecting The
Budget Process and Reserve Accounts
Moved by Councillor Brenner
Seconded by Councillor Pistritto

A discussion took place concerning the Auditors Report.
Moved by Councillor Brenner
Seconded by Councillor Pistritto

2. 1995 Financial Statements(draft)
Warren Hurren gave a brief explanation of the Financial Statements.
Councillor Pistritto enquired as to the source of data from Schedule 12 of the FIR
(Financial Information Release) and was advised that the information came from
the"Impact of Development" report.
The Manager Accounting and Payroll Services indicated that there were no
concerns with the statements.
Moved by Councillor Brenner
Seconded by Councillor Pistritto
To receive the Financial Statements as presented.
CARRIED
The meeting adjourned at 6:15 p.m.
