02.02 Consultation with the Coordinator, Health & Safety
Prior to the undertaking of a project, the department and project
manager is responsible to contact the Coordinator, Health & Safety
in order to conduct an evaluation of the project to determine if a
PSR is required.
The Coordinator, Health & Safety, in consultation with the
departmental and project manager will determine if a provision of
the Regulation listed in the Table applies to the project, and if the
corresponding circumstances in the Table will exist.
Where a provision of the Regulation listed in the Table applies to

scope of the PSR will be:
a) determined by the Coordinator, Health & Safety in consultation
with the project manager; and
b) specific to the relevant provision(s) of the Regulation listed in
the Table and that apply to the apparatus, structure, protective
