2. Bryce Jordan, on behalf of the applicant, stated the
application is located at the eastern gateway of the
municipality, that the intensification of zoning ;s
suitable in order to avoid urban sprawl and that
shadowing is mainly on Kingston Road. He added that
the location is appropriate having the higher building
on Kingston Road and reduced height buildings adjacent
to the abutting neighbourhoods. He will meet with
staff to improve access on si te and is wi 11 i ng to
provide technical information to staff when the
Comprehensive Review is included in the Department's
Workload Program.
3. John Gemin, 1957 Southview Drive, spoke in opposition
to the higher density proposed because the
nei ghbourhood' s character wi 11 be destroyed, property
values will decrease and there will be increased
traffic on Southview Drive. He stated that all of
Southview Drive should be rezoned to a high density.

Gerry Lodge, 1972 Southview Drive, asked if commercial
zoni ng is i ncl uded. He stated that resi dents have
been adversely affected by residential development
surrounding them and that if this application is
approved, the whole street should be rezoned in order
for them to take advantage of the higher density.

5. William Wright, 1970 Southview Drive, stated is
opposition to any non-residential development in the
area.
6. Tanya Roman, representing Mr. Wonnacott who owns
property on the north side of Kingston Road, requested
that her client's proposal be included in the
comprehensive review, that Council not proceed with
thi s app1 icati on until the study is done and that the
Wonnacott property be deal t with at the same time as
this one.
7. The applicant stated that there is access to the
property from Ki ngston Road and wi 11 co-operate wi th
staff in the review.

2. Robert Salter, owner, stated the application is to
update the facility by redesigning the roof line and
to replace the wooden structure in order to store
equipment indoors.

1. An explanation of the application as outlined in
Information Report No. 2/91 was given by Lynda Taylor,
Manager, Current Operations Division.
2. Mario Zukara, EMC Group, on behalf of the applicant,
stated that the configuration of the site results in
several deep lots but that some frontages may be
narrow. He added that they wi 11 attempt to preserve
as many trees as possible.
3. Allan Thornton, 1715 Fairport Road, asked that the
three lots siding on Fairport Road be changed to face
onto Fairport Road.
