5.
Wayne Nicholson, 1409 Rougemount Drive, stated the proposed
density is too hi gh compared to houses on Rougemount Dri ve,
that the floodplain is an unsafe place for children to
play, that schools will be overburdened, that traffic will
increase and that height of the buildings should be
investigated.
6. Victor Lind responded that the six storey building will be
built at top of bank, not in the floodplain, that the
floodplain will be left in its natural state, that surface
parking will be available for visitors and underground
parking for residents. He assured there will be no
infilling or development in the valleYt that shoring will
be provided for parking in order to avoid erosion and a
play area has been designated on the east side of the site
