THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PICKERING
BY-LAW NO. 6613/06
Being a by-law to repeal Smoking By-law No. 4290/93.
WHEREAS, the Council of the Regional Municipality of Durham passed By-
law No. 66-2002 to regulate smoking in public places and in the workplace;
AND WHEREAS, By-law No. 66-2002 supercedes Town of Pickering
Smoking By-law No. 4290/93 and the Council ofthe Corporation of the City of
Pickering considers it desirable to repeal By-law No. 4290/93;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY
OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOllOWS:
REPEAL OF EXISTING BY-LAW
1. Smoking By-law No. 4290/93 is repealed.

EFFECTIVE DATE
(2) This by.;law shall come into force and take effect on the day of the final
passing thereof.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 16th day of
January, 2006.
