THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN' OF PICKERING

Being a By-law to appoint a Mayor for the
Corporation of the Town of Pickering
WHEREAS Section 44, Subsection 1, Chapter 264, R.S.O. 1970
envisages a Council appointing a successor to the heat's of
Council where a vacancy in this position exists;
AND WHEREAS the Mayor has submitted his resignation,
effective June 21st, 1977;
NOW THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE TOW14 OF DICKERING
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS
1. That Councillor Jack Anderson be appointed to the
position of Mayor for the Town of Pickering for
the balance of the current Council term.
By-law read a first, second and third time and PASSED
this day of w 1977.
