A BY-LAw TO ESTABLISH A ROAD ON THE WEST HALF OF LOT NO. 25 IN THE
FIRST CONCESSION OF PICKERING LEADING FRO}/ THE FRONT OF THE SAID LOT
TO TIlE KINGSTON ROAD AND ~0WN AS THE BAY ROAD.
BE IT ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township o£ Picketing
THAT the new line of road surveyed and reported by John Shier,
Provincial Surveyor, as appears by his report and sUrvey bearing
date the 31st day of March, 1853, leading From the front of the
said Lot to Kingston Road commencing at the south east angle of the
said west half and running thence north 49 Degrees west to south
limit of the Kingston Road, the said Road to be 40 Feet wide and the
above described line to be the north eastern boundary thereof, is
hereby established and confirmed a public road or highway of ~anifest
importance to the public.
PASSED 17th May, 1853.
