Being a by-law to appoint a By-law Enforcement
Officer for certain purposes (Parking Regulation)

Whereas pursuant to the provision of section 15(1) of the Police Services Act., R.S.O. 1990,
chapter PI5, as amended, the council of any municipality or trustees of any police village may
appoint one or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace officers for the
purpose of enforcing the by-laws of the municipality or police village;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following person is hereby appointed as a by-law enforcement officer in and for
the Town of Picketing and is hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable times upon
lands municipally known as 924 Bayly St. ~ OCC 82, 1235 Bayly St. - OCC 81 l, 1975
Rosefield Rd. - OCC #58, 1210 Radom St. - DCC #19, 1310 Fieldlight Blvd. - DCC
g42, 1958 Rosefield Rd. - DCC #51, 580 Eyer Dr. - DCC #52, 1915 Denmar Dr. -
DCC #60, in order to ascertain whether the provisions of By-law 2359/87 are obeyed
and to enforce or carry into effect the said By-law:

2. The authority granted in section I hereto is specifically limited to that set out in section
I, and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in section 1.
3. This appointment shall expire upon the person appointed in Section I hereof ceasing to
be an employee of Group 4 CPS Limited or upon Group 4 CPS Limited ceasing to be
an authorized agent of Ontario Condominium Corporation #2, Ontario Condominium
Corporation #11, Ontario Condominium Corporation #58, Durham Condominium
Corporation #19, Durham Condominium Corporation #42, Durham Condominium
Corporation #51, Durham Condominium Corporation #52 and Durham Condominium
Corporation #60, whichever shall occur first.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 17thday of January 1994.
