HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 3643/69BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER 3037, as amended; WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Plckering deems it desirable to further amend the provisions of By-law Number 3037, as amended; and WHEREAS authority is granted under Section 30 of The Planning Act R.S.O. 1960 as amended, to the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Pickering to exercise such powers; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Picketing ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: A. SCHEDULE "B" AMENDMENTS 1. That Schedule "B" of By-law Number 3037 as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by altering the Village Residential Zone 'R5' designation in part of Lot 19, Concession 8, to read General Commercial Zone 'C2' as shown on Schedule 'A' atta6hed hereto. 2. That Schedule "B" of By-law Number 3037 as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by inserting thereon; on the property known as: the Westerly 83 feet of the Easterly 220 feet of the Northerly 135 feet of Lot 19, Concession 8; the words "C2 - SPECIFIC". B. TEXT AMENDMENTS 1. That Section 9.3 EXCEPTION be and the same is hereby deleted in its entirety, and the following inserted therefore: 9.3 EXCEPTIONS 9.3.1 Within those areas zoned C2 in the Village of Claremont shown on Schedule "B" attached hereto, the requirements of Section 9.2 with respect to Lot Area and Front Yard shall not apply. 9.3.2 Part Lot 19, Concession 8 Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9.1, the Westerly 83 feet of the Easterly 220 feet of the Northerly 135 feet of Lot 19, Concession 8, may be used for a combined funeral home, ambulance service and residence. C. That By-law Number 3037 as amended, be and the same is hereby ~epealed and amended only to the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions of this By-law - 2 - D. No part of this By-law shall come into force without the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board, but subject to such approval, the By-law shall take effect from the day of passinE thereof.
