The Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering, in accordance with the provisions of
The Planning Act R.S.O. 1960 as amended, hereby
enacts as follcws:
1. The attached ma~ and explanatory
text, constitutinM Amendment No.
13 to the Official Plan of the
Township of Picketing PlanninM &rea,
is hereby adopted.
2. That the Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to make application to
the Minister of Municloal Affairs
for approval of the aforementioned
Amendment No. 13 to the Official
Plan of the Township of Pickering
Planning Area.
3, This By-law shall come into force
and take cffect on the day cf the
final passing thereof.

(a) TITLE
Amendment No. 13 to the Official
Plan of the Township of Picketing Planning
Area.
(b) SUBMISSION
The following Text and Map, desig-
nated Schedule IIA, constitute ~mendm~nt No.
13 to the Official Plan of the Township of
Pickerin~ Planning Area, and is herewith
submitted for the approval of the Minister
of Municipal Affairs.
ITEM 1
LOCATION: Part of Lot 29, Range 3 (North side
of Highway No. 2, approximately 400 feet west
of White's Road), being the lands aS shown on
the attached Schedule IIA, as Item 1, which
'lands are more particularly described in the
Appendix, attached hereto.
CHANGE: "RESIDENTIAL" to "COMMERCIaL-HIGHWAY".
STATEMENT: To peri, it the operstion of a Nursery
Sales Station and growing area.
The Nursery Sales operation is an
existing commercial use, as are a Doctor's office
and Service Station in the immediately surround-
ing area. In addition, the Dunbarton High School
and Dunbarton Senior Public School are located
to the north of the subject propel'ty. The
property to the south is designated and zoned as
Commercial-General, and accommodation of a
highway commercial use in the same general locality
is considered compatible.
At the time the Senior Public School
was proposed, an Area Study was prepared which
indicated the Highway No. 2 frontage, from
Whlte's Road to Altona Road, as Commercial-
Highway and Commercial-Neighbourhood. This

ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of
land and premises, situate lying and being in the
Tewnshlp of Pickerin~ and County of Ontario, and
being composed of part of Lot 29 in the Third
Range of the Broken Front Concession of the said
Township, which parcel is more particulsrly
described as follows:
PREMISING that the bearing of Provincial Highway
No. 2, as defined by Deposit Plan 31 Highways, is
North 45 degrees 0 minutes East, and relating all
bearings used herein thereto;
COMMENCING at a point in said north limit of
Provincial Highway No. 2, distant Westerly therein
288.0 feet from the intersection of said north
limit with the east limit of said Lot 29;
THENCE South 45 degrees 0 minutes West along said
north limit of Provincial Highway Ne. 2 a distance
cf 150 0 feet;
THENCE North 45 degrees West a distance of 377.61
feet;

THENCE North 49 degrees 54 minutes BO seconds East
to a point of intersection with a line drawn on a
bearing of North 45 dsgrees 0 minutes West from the
said ?~int of Commencement, a distance of 150.55
feet more or less;

Commencement.
