Being a By-law to ~end By-law 3212
designating though highways.
WHEREAS, Clause 26 of subsection 1 of Section 1 of the Highway
Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1960, Chapter 172 (1) provides that:
"Through Highway" means any highway or part of a highway designated
as such by the Minister or by By-law of a municipality approved by
the Department and every such highway shall be marked by a stop
sign or yield right-of-way sign in compliance with the regulations
of the Department.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering enacts as follows:
1. Section 1 of By-law Number 3212 is amended by adding the
following:

Breezy Drive 50' E. of W. Shore Blvd. Oklahoma Drive

Tatra Drive 50' E. of Liverpool Rd. 50' W. of Krosno
Loreto St. 50' E. of Krosno Blvd. 50' W. of Sandy
Beach Rd.
Annland St. 50' S. of Krosno Blvd. 50' E. of Liverpool
Garvolin Ave. 50' E. of Modlin Rd. 50' W. of Krosno
Radom St. 50' W. of Liverpool Rd. W. Limit of Reg.
Plan M-16
2. The penalties provided in Section 85 of the Highway Traffic
Acts shall apply to offences against this By-law.
3. This By-law shall not become effective until approved by the
Department of Transport.
