bein9 a By-law to autholize tile Reeve and
Clerk to execute a deed from the Department
of Highways for the Province off Ontario and
to authorize the purchase of the lands.
WH~{REAS the Council of th~-- Corporation of the
Township of Pickering desires to construct a new police
station on part ox LoTs 2~ and 26 in [Range 3 of the
Township o~ Pickezing and the Department o~ Highways for
the Province o~ Onua~io h~s agreed to sell a suitable site
~o the Township of Ficker~ng containing 3.375 acres of l~nG
more oz less for the sum of $4,218.75;
AND W[[Z~EAS the site ~o be purchased is %o be
conveyed to the Corporation of t~ Township of Pickerinf~
subject to rights a[ way ig favour o~ The Bell Telephone
Company of Canada and is ~o be subject ~o covenants
~he lands will be used for municipal purposes only and
no claim for compensation will be made in respect of ~he
site for defective drainage or for ~ne closing of any zoads
contiguous to %he King's Highway if %he said King's Highway
is designated a controlled-access highway.

1. The purchase f~om ~he De~artmen~ o~ Ilighway= of
par% of Lo~s 25 and 26 in Range 3 of the To~nship of Fic~
designated as I%~RT 1 on ~he Dep~tment of Highways sulvey No.
P-1922-63 for %he sum of $4,218.75 is hereby authozized.
2. The Reeve and Clerk ale hereby autholized ~o execute
the deed to be given ~o the Corporation ~ this side, to assume
the covenants set gui therein and to execute all documents
· equi~ed ~o complete the purchase of ~ne sa~d siSe.
