Being a By-law to authorize the purchase
of I~ acres of land, being composed of part
of Lot 19, Range 3, for the purpose of
establishing sites for the carrying on of
industries and industrial operations, at the
price of $61750 and to authorize the $61750
borrowing of that amount, for that purpose.
~HEREA~ it is deemed advisable to purchase the lands
described in Schedule A annexed hereto from Viking Develop-
ments Limited, for the price of $61,750.00 for the purpose
of establishing sites for the carrying on of industries and
industrial operations;
AND ~'~EREAS the total cost of the said purchase,$61,?50.O0
will be levied by an annual rate against all the rateable
property in the Township of Picketing over a period of
5 years;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOi~SHIP OF PICKERING ENACTS AS FOLLO~:
1o That there shall be purchased from Viking Develop-
ments Limited, for the purpose of establishing sites for
the carrying on of industries and industrial operations the
lands described in Schedule A annexed hereto, for the sum
of $61,750.00
2. That there shall be borrower the sum of $61,750.O0
for the purpose set out in Clause 1, which sum shall be a
charge against all the rateable property in the Township of
Pickering.
3. That the special rate to pay for the said purchase
shall be paid in 5 annual instalments.
4. That this By-law shall not come into force and
effect until it has received the approval of The Ontario
Municipal Board.

SCHEDULE 'A' to By-law Number
of the TO~,~?~SHIP OF PICKERING
Part of Lot 19, Broken Front Concession, Range 3 in the
Township of Picketing in the County of Ontario, comprising
an area of 19 acres, having a fromtage of 700 feet more or
less on the West limit of the Road Allowance between Lots
18 and 19, commencing 1696 feet south of the North limit of
the said Lot 19 and running thence South, by a depth of
1190.99 feet to the East limit of the lands of the Hydro
Electric Power Commission of Ontario.
