DISPOSITION
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
BY-LAW NO. 5185/98
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of an Offer to
Purchase from the Region of Durham, Lot 77, Block N,
Plan 418 (parcel 3).
WHEREAS, Council passed Resolution 159/97 which authorized the Town Solicitor to enter into
negotiations with the Region of Durham regarding the purchase of two parcels of lands (parcels 2 and 3).
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
A By-law should be enacted authorizing the Mayar and Clerk to execute an Offer to Purchase from the
Region prepared in a form acceptable to the Tow~ Solicitor tbr the purchase of Lot 77, Block N, Plan
418 (parcel 3) lands, tree and clear of all encumbrances. Funding for the acquisition will be allocated to
the Town's Parkland Acquisition Reserve Fund.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third rime and finally passed this 19th day of January, 1998.
