COW 2003-4
That the Committee of the Whole of the City of Pickering having met on April 14, 2003,
presents its fourth report to Council and recommends:
1.
CLERK'S REPORT CL 09-03
ROUGE VALLEY HEALTH SYSTEM
-ENHANCEMENT OF MEDICAL SERVICES IN
THE CITY OF PICKERING
1. That Clerk's Report CL 9-03 regarding the letter from the President and CEO
of the Rouge Valley Health System respecting the enhancement of medical
services in the City of Pickering be received.
2. That the Council of the Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby makes
application to the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care to be declared as
underserviced in regards to the number of family physicians operating within
the City of Pickering.
3. That copies of Report CL 9-03 be forwarded to the Ministry of Health and
Long Term Care, the Honourable Janet Ecker, MP, Pickering-Ajax-Uxbridge,
the Durham District Health Council and the President and CEO of the Rouge
Valley Health System.
