ESTABLISH A COMMUNITY CENTRE AT PICKERING BEACH.
WHEREAS provision is made for the establishment of a Community
Centre and Athletic field in Ontario under the Community Centres
Act, 1960;
AND WHEREAS it is desired to establish a Community Centre ~n
Lot 6, Concession Broken Front, R. 3, known as the former
schoolhouse of School Section No. 1, in the Township of
Pickering;
THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Townsbip of Pickering
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That a Community Centre defined as a Community Centre under
the Community Centres Act, 1960, and the regulations there-
under, be established at Lot 6, Concession Broken Front
Range 3, known as the former schoolhouse of School Section
No. 1, and that the said Community Centre be administered
by the following Board, duly appointed for the ensuing year:
Murray Russell
George Kay
Mrs. S. Russell
Mrs. A. Corbet
Mrs. N. Livingston
Donald Waring Council
Mrs. J. L. McPherson - Council
2. THAT said Community Centre shall be maintained as a Community
Centre by the said Board in conformity wit?~ the Act and
regulations made thereunder.
THAT the said Community Centre shall be known as the Picketing
Beach Community Centre.
